In 2014, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, launched the UAE National Agenda as an extension to achieve the UAE Vision 2022.
The UAE Vision 2022 National Agenda emphasizes the development of a first-rate education system, which will require a complete transformation of the current education system and teaching methods, including integration of Smart learning as a basis for all teaching methods, projects and research. Furthermore, the National Agenda aims to enable the UAE’s students rank among the best in the world in reading, mathematics and science exams, and to have a strong knowledge of the Arabic language.
Our school is fully aligned with the government’s vision. SMS has taken various initiatives to ensure we meet the set education goals. Such initiatives include the digitization of curriculum delivery, with a phased school-wide implementation of digital learning through iPads and related online programs. These initiatives provide our teachers and students with an immersive learning experience, making curriculum delivery more effective.
