Head of Girls

About the Role:

As the Head of Girls at the School of Modern Skills, you will spearhead the development, innovation, and management of educational programs for girls in grades 5 to 12. Your primary goal will be to foster positive engagement and cultivate lifelong learning skills, thereby enhancing academic progress and achievements among our students. Collaborating with school leadership, faculty, and the broader school community, you will create an inclusive, supportive, and innovative learning environment tailored to the unique needs of girls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Management:
• Lead and oversee educational programs specific to the Girls’ Campus, ensuring that high academic standards are upheld.
• Supervise the development of a relevant and engaging curriculum that meets the diverse needs of girls, aligning with school objectives and national educational standards.
• Student Engagement & Development:
• Drive initiatives that promote student engagement, personal growth, social-emotional development, and character-building among girls.
• Create and implement programs that focus on developing leadership skills and a sense of responsibility within students.
• Collaboration with Leadership:
• Work closely with senior leadership to implement the school’s vision and mission, ensuring strategic alignment with broader educational goals.
• Community & Parent Engagement:
• Build strong relationships with parents and the community, acting as a primary point of contact to support student success and foster collaboration.
• Behavioral Support:
• Develop and implement effective behavioral interventions to create a positive learning environment, focusing on reducing behavioral incidents and improving student engagement.
• Compliance & Safeguarding:
• Ensure adherence to all safeguarding policies and relevant UAE education regulations, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for all students.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership is required.
• Experience: Proven experience in a senior leadership role within an educational institution, preferably focused on girls’ education, with a minimum of five years in UAE schools and at least two years working with Emirati students.
• Skills: Strong leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and expertise in curriculum development and educational best practices.
• Personal Attributes: A passion for fostering student success, an innovative mindset, emotional intelligence, resilience, and outstanding communication skills.
