  • Depending on the results of entrance test and the psychologist interview, the specialist will decide whether the student needs additional tuition in thre core subjects of Arabic, English and math or not.
  • Admissions for KG1 – to grade 12 throughout the year: The Registration Department, along with the Senior Leadership Team, will test and evaluate applications made throughout the year on a case by case basis. Admissions will be based upon availability in the grade, school/term reports and entrance test results. All other registration and administrative requirements remain the same as other grades and as listed above.
  • If your application is successful and your child is offered a place you will be notified by phone or SMS and invited to come in to complete the rest of the Admission formalities.

Admission procedures for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities:

The school is inclusive and is willing to enrol students with special educational needs except where the perceived need is so severe that the school cannot accommodate it. All students admitted to the school are assessed and accepted if the school can ensure provision for their emotional and academic needs.

All students admitted see the relevant SEN coordinator as a part of the admissions process. If a new student is believed to have any kind of SEN requirements, a baseline assessment takes place. This consists of an interview followed by written tests in Arabic, maths and English.

The school needs to be aware of any known disability or special educational need which may affect a child’s ability to take full advantage of the education provided at the school. Applicants should disclose any disability or leaning need at the time of making an application and provide medical or educational reports where required.

When a particular learning need becomes apparent after the child has started at the school, the school will consult with parents about what measures need to be put into place for the child to continue his or her education successfully.
